When your complaint becomes
an investigation.

Every gripe tells a story. When multiple people report the same pattern, we dig in: requesting documents, interviewing sources, and publishing what we find.

How It Works

01
Submit your gripe
Describe your experience with any company, organization, landlord, or institution. Be as specific as possible: dates, dollar amounts, and contact attempts all help.
02
Editors review
Our editorial team reads every submission. We look for patterns across gripes: the same playbook used by different companies, in different cities.
03
Patterns become investigations
When enough gripes point the same direction, we launch a formal investigation: requesting documents, interviewing sources, and building the case.
04
We publish. Things change.
Our investigations are free to read. They've prompted regulatory action, legislative hearings, and policy changes, because documented patterns are hard to ignore.

One complaint is easy to dismiss. A pattern isn't.

Institutions are built to absorb individual grievances and move on: a denied claim, an eviction notice, a canceled flight, each one easy to write off as a one-off. But patterns are harder to ignore. When we connect gripes across companies, cities, and years, isolated frustration becomes documented evidence, the kind regulators, journalists, and courts can act on.
