Before you write

A few things that help us respond faster:

Use the right address

General questions, tips, legal notices, and donations each go to a different inbox. Using the right one above means your message reaches the right person the first time.

If it's a gripe, use the form

Emailing us your gripe directly works, but our submission form routes it into the same review process as everyone else's, with the structured fields our editors use to spot patterns. It's the faster path to getting looked at.

Be specific

Whatever you're writing about, concrete details, dates, names, dollar amounts, links, get a faster and more useful response than a general description.

A note on confidentiality

Standard email isn't fully secure, and we don't currently offer an encrypted contact channel. If what you're sharing is sensitive, internal documents, your employment status, anything that could put you at risk, say so in your message and we'll handle it with discretion, but weigh that limitation before you write.

You are never required to identify yourself to reach us. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle contact information.

Questions

How long until I hear back?
We read everything, but response time varies by inbox and volume. Tips and legal notices are typically reviewed faster than general inquiries.
I submitted a gripe. Should I also email you?
Not necessary. Submissions through our form already reach our editorial team. Emailing separately won't speed up review.
Do you take phone calls or have a mailing address?
Not at this time. Email is the only channel we currently support.
Can I follow up on something I already sent?
Yes. Reply to your original email or send a new one to the same address referencing your first message.
